The Big Issue is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and creating work opportunities for people experiencing homelessness, marginalisation and disadvantage. Simply put, we help people help themselves. We run social enterprises to create work opportunities for people who are unable to access mainstream work. The Big City Search | Melbourne

A scavenger hunt style activity, students are put in the shoes of someone who has found themselves without anywhere to sleep. Using a pack of materials provided by The Big Issue, students move around the city and gain an understanding of the challenges of homelessness in context.
