Taronga Zoo’s Early Stage 1 – Stage 1 program offers an exciting blend of animal encounters and curriculum-aligned learning. Each school visit includes a dedicated workshop led by a Taronga Zoo Educator, followed by free time to explore the zoo’s exhibits.

Teachers can choose from a selection of engaging, age-appropriate workshops across Science, English, Geography, and History. Whether you're learning about Dreaming stories, discovering backyard biodiversity, or studying bugs and bees, there’s something to spark every young learner’s curiosity.

Each workshop is approximately 90 minutes and designed to meet NSW curriculum outcomes, while giving students a chance to connect with animals, nature, and sustainability themes in a real-world context.
