Quiz Room Tournament
Bring your whole year group and turn your school excursion into a full-blown quiz tournament—complete with live scoring, knockout rounds, and a grand final.
In the Quiz Room Tournament, students compete in teams across two thrilling 30-minute quiz games. The first is a qualifying round, followed by either a grand final or plate final, so every student plays the entire time—no spectators here.
How school events work at Quiz Room:
-
Students play in teams of up to 18 per team, competing in real-time across two or three quiz rooms
-
Designed for 19 to 108 students, this format runs like a true game show championship
-
After the qualifying round, scores are tallied and students are split into tiers: top-scoring teams enter the grand final, while others head to the plate final
-
All students experience both games, with different teammates and rules to keep them engaged and challenged
Teachers can choose:
-
The Quiz – A broad trivia challenge with team tactics and twists
-
The Music Quiz – Perfect for students who love sound-based competition and pop culture (recommended for Years 7+)
Ideal for:
-
Large year-level excursions
-
House or group competitions
-
Celebration days and reward activities
-
Excursions focused on social-emotional learning through competition
