It’s game day at Quiz Room Melbourne—and your students are the stars.

The Quiz Room Tournament offers a structured, high-energy session where students face off in a real-life quiz championship. Across two 30-minute games, they’ll compete in rotating teams for points, pride, and a spot in the final showdown.

Here’s how it works:

  • All students compete in a 30-minute qualifying round

  • Scores are tallied and teams are ranked

  • The top half of teams head to the Grand Final, while the bottom half compete in the Plate Final—so everyone plays twice, regardless of score

You can choose:

  • The Quiz – General trivia, logic, teamwork and curveballs

  • The Music Quiz – Beat-based and buzzer-fast (ideal for Years 7–12)

  • Or a combination of both rounds, tailored to your group

How school events work at Quiz Room:

  • Students play in duos or trios, with full access to buzzers, audio-visual prompts, scoreboards and special effects

  • Designed for groups of 19–36 students, the tournament uses multiple quiz rooms and tracks scores across the group

  • Teachers can opt to include up to 10 custom questions (additional fee)

  • The experience ends with a scoreboard wrap-up and a celebration of champions

Perfect for:

  • Year-level competitions

  • House/team-based excursions

  • Reward days with structure and purpose

  • Leadership and peer mentoring activities
