How to Live in my Environment
Within the Science curriculum, students will explore and investigate that living things have structural features and adaptations that help them to survive in their environment. Students will also engage in learning about geography and how the influence of people, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, effects the environmental characteristics of Australian places. Investigative discussions about the environmental and human influences on location, management of environment and the impact of bushfires or flooding on the animals and the environment, will also take place.

Further Infomation
Students can experience opal and gold mining, as well as koala photos, for an additional charge. These additional experiences would extend the program by approximately 30 minutes, with the program finish time being approximately 2.30pm.
Objectives
Program will provide the students opportunities for active participation with native Australian and farmyard animals.
