How much more exciting when the children are actually involved in a ten day programme where they can hatch their own chicks and study them first hand. Your task is to monitor chicks, from hatching to approximately oneweek old. There will be a number of things which you may wish to monitor. These include temperature of housing, colour, length, weight, activity, amount of food eaten.
