Cook4Good And Urban Walk
Students begin the day with Cook4Good, preparing meals for people experiencing homelessness while learning about food insecurity and empathy. In the afternoon, they join an interactive Urban Walk through Kings Cross, led by a guide with lived experience of homelessness, offering real-life insights and encouraging discussion about life on the streets.
School Incursion - Breakfast Boxes
The Breakfast Box Incursion program by Kids Giving Back is a hands-on volunteering experience where kids come together to pack breakfast boxes, lunch packs, snack cups, care packs, or pamper packs for people in need. Guided by friendly facilitators, kids aged 5–18 get hands-on as they help put together thoughtful items to brighten someone’s day. Along the way, they learn that small acts of kindness can make a big difference - helping them build confidence, empathy, and a sense of connection to their community.
School Incursion: Little Helpers Incursion
The Little Helpers Incursion program by Kids Giving Back is a hands-on volunteering experience where kids come together to prepare fruit kebabs and breakfast boxes for individuals experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Guided by facilitators, participants not only develop chopping skills but also gain an understanding of social issues, fostering empathy and community engagement. This program is suitable for those aged 5 -7 years old.

Scones & Stories Intergenerational Program
Scones and Stories is a heartwarming intergenerational program that connects school students with elderly residents in aged care. Through shared letters, games, and conversations over scones and jam, students and seniors come together to build friendships, share stories, and create joyful moments. This program fosters empathy, reduces loneliness, and promotes wellbeing for all involved.
