Hookin2Hockey
Hockey Tasmania will facilitate 2 free Hookin2Hockey Clinics per signed up class. These will invovle a Tassie Tigers player or Hockey Tasmania selected coach coming to your school and running these 45 minute sessions, these can easily be incorperated into your PE lessons. These sessions are a great opportunity for students to try out a new sport and develop new physical literacy skills.

Further Infomation
All School Sessions with Hockey Tasmania are conducted by a trained coach with a WWVP check who will use fun and exciting activities to introduce students to the Sport. All required equipment except Mouthguards can be provided by Hockey Tasmania.
Objectives
The objectives of the Sporting School Program are to:
engage primary school students in free, high-quality sport programs at school
engage secondary school students in free, high-quality sport programs at school, particularly inactive students, girls, and students attending schools in disadvantaged areas
establish partnerships between sporting organisations and schools to promote involvement in sport outside of school
develop the capability of schools and teachers to provide students with positive sport experiences
build the capability of coaches and the sport workforce
support life-long involvement in sport and physical activity to enhance health and wellbeing
