The Pitch Festival is First Pivot's premier entrepreneurial program for primary and secondary school students, uniquely designed as an entrepreneurial sports carnival for young innovators in Years 5-10. This dynamic workshop develops essential 21st century skills while introducing students to the excitement of entrepreneurial thinking in a collaborative, competition-based format.

During this immersive experience, students work in teams to develop innovative ideas through structured ideation techniques that foster creativity and problem-solving. Our expert Coaches guide participants through the innovation process, teaching them how to refine concepts, consider audience needs, and develop practical solutions to real-world challenges.

The workshop culminates in our signature "mini-shark tank" pitch competition, where teams present their ideas to peers and judges. This authentic pitching experience builds confidence, communication skills, and the ability to articulate value propositions—essential capabilities for future success in any field.

What makes our Pitch Festival truly special is the additional, inter school competition element. Compete agains participating schools and select the one outstanding team to represent your school at the Grand Final! Similar to a Debate or Chess competition, this creates a meaningful goal for students while promoting healthy competition and school pride.

The Pitch Festival aligns perfectly with curriculum requirements while engaging students in experiential learning.
