Escape Room + Team Building
This full-circle itinerary brings together the thrill of an escape room with the power of purposeful team-building, giving students a chance to challenge themselves mentally, socially, and strategically.
Running for around 3 hours, students begin by working in small teams to tackle one of Escape Hunt Perth’s themed escape rooms. After escaping (or not!), they’ll take part in a series of guided team-building exercises designed to reflect on what they’ve learned and apply it in new, practical ways.
Perfect for Years 5–12, this program is suited for:
Leadership and enrichment programs
Peer support and team-building days
End-of-term celebrations with an educational twist
Classes looking to strengthen collaboration and communication
Part 1: Escape Room Experience (1.5 hours)
Students choose from a range of themed escape rooms at Escape Hunt Perth, including:
Alice in Puzzleland – Help rescue Alice through whimsical puzzles and creative thinking
Aladdin & The Magic Vault – Recover a stolen treasure with logic and teamwork
Curse of the Pharaoh – Solve ancient mysteries before the tomb seals shut
Wild Western Jailbreak – Escape your cell and uncover the outlaw's secrets
In teams of 4–6, students must communicate effectively, stay calm under pressure, and think critically to escape within 60 minutes. The rooms are immersive, narrative-driven, and designed to challenge a variety of skill sets.
Part 2: Team Building Session (1.5 hours)
After the excitement of the escape rooms, students participate in a tailored team-building workshop. This session is facilitated by the Escape Hunt team and focuses on extending the learning from the escape experience.
Activities may include:
Problem-solving games – Students must collaborate under pressure to achieve shared goals
Leadership and communication exercises – Designed to encourage active listening, initiative, and clear group roles
Strategy and resilience tasks – Challenging games that require teamwork, adaptability, and creative thinking
Debrief and reflection – Facilitators guide students to reflect on their performance and apply learning to school life
The program is fun, inclusive, and built for every student to participate—no matter their confidence level.
