Our Bubble Pop! People workshop focuses on facilitating the play and creative skills unique to bubble artistry and bubble physics on an impossibly grand scale, and gives the participants extensive skills to take into their future bubbly explorations.
Our workshop facilitator sloshes in with an enormous volume of bubble juice (a whopping litre per child for bubble sculpture, big bubbling, hand-bubbling and rope work), skills and tools to make every child a bubble artist!
Children build their own wobbly blown bubble creations, chase giant bubbles, make their own rope bubbles of various sizes, big and small and learn a variety of hand-bubbling skills, all after our facilitator shows off their skills with some interactive show elements on the science behind bubbles.
Adaptable to Fit All Ages and Skill-Levels
We are adept at communicating skills to all kids, irrespective of their age. While this incursion suits primary-school-aged kids and up, it can also be altered to fit pre-schoolers’ abilities, too.
Each bubbling tool has moves and skills that increase in difficulty, meaning that the full breadth of ability-levels can be addressed within the one workshop.
We guarantee each child will succeed in achieving skills with each toy – this is the goal of the way we teach and the challenges we set.
We want every participant to unlock the joys of trying something new and doing something they didn’t realise they could!

What happens in this incursion?
The presenter performs first a bubble table show to entertain and educate on the science behind bubbles, while they demonstrate a variety of wand/table bubble-artistry skills. This is followed by a photo-op experience for every child – Kid-In-A-Bubble!
Our Kid-in-a-Bubble is the safest and sturdiest ever to be made, eliminating the risk of children depressing the rim to flood the area with bubble solution with its solid construction, and non-slip centre area. Every child is welcomed into the ring, with a giant bubble made to enclose their whole body!
The incursion moves into its ‘hands-on workshop’ phase with an education in bubble sculpture where the children experiment with techniques to create their own, followed by our outdoor hand-bubbles and rope-bubbles workshop activity. The presenter moves through the area while the children experiment with the techniques they’ve learned, offering skill inspirations tailored to the child’s level and maintaining group safety compliance. In this last portion, they also use their giant wands to create massive bubbles for the children to marvel at, before they pop them with glee!
What skills will the children learn?
Our Bubble incursion entails the development of the following skills:
- Hand-bubbling (making small bubbles using a variety of one-hand/two-hand techniques)
- Rope-bubbling (making medium-to-large sized bubbles alone or by working together)
- Bubble sculpture (making small bubbles to combine into forms, eg. Bubbles-in-bubbles, bubble strings or stacks)
