What to Bring
Our tours and some activities take place outdoors in an open yard. We rarely cancel due to inclement weather, so it is best to be prepared and dress to the conditions.

We suggest that you check the weather forecast prior to your visit and ensure that students dress appropriately:

  • Wear comfortable, layered clothing
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes appropriate for uneven surfaces
  • Bring a wind-proof rain coat
  • Pack sun screen and a hat

Large bags and backpacks must be left at school or on the bus.

Where to Eat
The site is small and cannot accommodate refreshment breaks. Cascades Gardens is our recommended spot for lunch or morning / afternoon tea.

Accessibility
Assistance from other group members may be required to allow students with restricted mobility to navigate some parts of the site. If travelling in an independent vehicle, a disabled parking space available at the Syme Street entrance to the site.

If someone in your group has mobility restrictions, please advise us at the time of booking.
